Colonel Ing. Oskar Kovařík , born in 1964; in the year 1986 he graduated from the Military University of the Ground Forces (VVŠ PV) Vyškov, in 1997 Higher Academic Course, Military Academy Brno. Further he completed Staff Course Brno, and Staff Course at the National Defence Academy in Vienna. In the year 1998 he attended the course Manager for 21st Century at the Military College of Strategy Studies and Defence Economy, Germany; in 1999 he completed another course, Logistics for Brigade, Corps or Equivalent-Sized Groupings, both in the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1999, doctoral degree in theory of state defence economy. From 1986 till 1993 he performed various commanding and staff assignments. In 1993 he joined the Logistics Command at Stará Boleslav, and also worked in its successional organizations. At present he is on the position of Deputy Chief of Arms and Technological Support, Support Forces Command.
