Dr. Antonín Krásný, (Col. Ret.), born in 1950, He graduated from the Military College of the Grand Forces in Vyškov. After commanding practice at the tactical level of the troops and completing post-graduate studies at Military Academy, he passed pedagogical positions, staff positons at the corps level and in the Defence Policy Division of MoD. At the end of the year 2000, he was discharged from the military from medical reasons. Now, he acts at the Institute for Strategic Studies of the University of Defence in Brno, dealing with the military issues.
