Asoc. Prof. Dr. Jiří Nedbal, born in 1942. He is a graduate of the Military Railway School and Military Academy in Bratislava. He acted in military units in area of engineer support and from 1974 he worked as a lecturer and researcher at the Military Academy, Brno and at the Military College of the Grand Forces, Vyškov. Now, he works at the University of Defence in Brno, where he is appointed as an associate professor in the field of political economy. He deals with the issues of Political Economy, the economic aspects of defence and security, economic issues of arms production and defence market.
