Col. GS. Richard Kraus, born in 1966. He graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague (1992), postgraduate studies at the Jan Evangelista Purkyně Military Medical Academy in Hradec Králové (1996). He also graduated from the Strategic Medical Leadership Course (San Antonio, Texas 2010). From 1997 the chief of the Garrison Medical Centre in Benešov, the Army Medical Service of the General Staff of the Czech Armed Forces and from 2002 Military Medical Support Division of MOD. From 2006 to 2009 NATO JFC HQ Brunssum, NLD. Military operations abroad: SFOR II (2000), ISAF (2008). Since 2013, he is the director of the Military Medical Support Division of the MoD. He deals with the management of health services in multicentre and transnational organizations.
