pplk. gšt. doc. MUDr. Petr Lochman, Ph.D., born in 1977. He graduated from Purkinje Military Medical Academy and Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Hradec Králové. Since 2001 he has beeen working as a surgeon at Department of Surgery in University Hospital in Hradec Králové, since 2004 he has been a staff member of Department of Field Surgery, Faculty of Military Health Sciences University of Defence. He successsfully passed specialization exams in general surgery and oncosurgery and finished his postgraduate study in military surgery in 2010. He was appointed an associate professor in the same branch in 2018. During his military carreer he participated in two foreign missions (Iraq 2004 and Afghanistan 2008). He is especially interested in the surgery of oesophagus and stomach.
