Adam Potočňák, PhD, born 1993. Holds PhD in Political Science and Security and Strategic Studies from the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University (FSS MU) in Brno, Czech Republic. Since December 2019, he has worked as an academician at the Centre for Security and Military-Strategic Studies (CSMSS) of the University of Defence, Brno. In this capacity, he has provided expertise for the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic and lectured on all levels of career military education, including the top-level Higher Officers' Course and the General Staff Course. His professional focus includes security and defence policy, great power competition, transatlantic relations, grand strategy, military history, and armed conflict analysis.
