Karel Pešek, born in 1999. In 2021 and 2023 he graduated from the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in security and strategic studies. From September 2023 he has been an academic member of the Institute of Intelligence Studies (ÚZS) at the University of Defence, where he is also studying for a PhD in National Defence Theory at the Faculty of Military Leadership. His primary research interests are new intelligence trends, structured intelligence analysis methods and geographically the post-Soviet space.
