Prof. Karel Pospíšil, PhD, LL.M., born 1969. Graduate integrated master’s degree programme in civil engineering at the Brno Univ. Technology (BUT), PhD programme in transportation infrastructure at the Pardubice University, MBA and MSc programmes in economics and management validated by the Nottingham Trent Univ. and LLM in business laws by the Staffordshire Univ. He passed habilitation and professorship procedure at the Pardubice Univ. Professional trek started in 1992 as road engineer in Germany and continued in Czechia. In 2000 he shifted to the Transport Research Centre (CDV) gradually as researcher, head of research group, R&D director and managing director. In this period he completed above mentioned postgradual studies and collaborated with the Pardubice Univ. After the end of his mission at CDV he was appointed as the member of directors' board of the Prague Municipal Road Administrations, member, chair of board of trusties at Czech Railways company. Since 2020 he has served as professor and director at Institution of Forensic Engineering BUT.
