Hrabě Jan
Assoc. Prof. Jan Hrabě, Ph.D., born in 1943. He is a graduate of the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague. After graduating in 1967, he joined the military service at the Military Academy in Brno, where he acted at the Logistic Department deployed in Vyškov. Subsequently he worked until 1984 as an inspector at the State Guality Inspection of the products of the food industry. In later years, he served as head of the production department to Lacrum Company in Brno. In period 1992-1995 he served as Deputy Director of the Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection in Brno. From 1995 he worked as a university lecturer at the Military College of the Land Forces in Vyškov in the Department of Economics and food hygiene. After successful reorganization of military colleges he changed at the Tomas Bata University in Zlin, where he works currently as head of the Institute of Food Technology and Microbiology.
