Miroslav Šuhaj, PhD, born in 1957, graduated from the Military College of the Ground Forces in Vyškov, and the Military Academy in Brno. He has served as a mechanized unit commander and as an intelligence officer at different operating levels. He completed his military career as a Military Attaché of the Czech Republic to the United States. In Academia he has worked as a teacher and a dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management at the University of Defence (2005–2011). Since 2017 he has worked for the Doctrine Centre of the Training Command – Military Academy on the field of information analysis for Lessons Learned processes. He is an author of several textbooks and many professional articles.
