Miroslav Musil, Ph.D., born in 1958. He is graduated from in Military College in Žilina (1981), and from Military Academy in Brno (1988). He defended his dissertation in 1996. From 1981 to 1990 he held teaching and academic positions at the Military Academy in Brno. At present, he works as a lecturer at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management in Uherské Hradiště at the Institute of Population Protection. Hhe deals with logistics issues and their application in the area of integrated rescue system, population protection and crisis management.
