Assoc. Prof. Zdeněk Flasar, PhD, born  1955. In 1980, he graduates from Military University of Ground Forces in Control theory and combat use of the ground forces. In 1997 obtained a title of doctor and in 2003 appointed as associate professor. Between 1980 to 1985 held various command positions mostly at battalion level. Since 1986, he has held various teaching positions in Vyškov and at the University of Defense in Brno (until now). The main areas of research interest are the preparation of army personnel - tactics and methods of preparation of commanders, staffs and members of the armed forces.
