Barić Slavko

Lt Gen Dr. sc. Slavko Barić, born in 1957. He joined the Croatian Homeland War in 1991 as commander of the 107th Brigade, and later (1991-1992) commander of 132nd Brigade and Deputy Commander of the Osijek Area Command (1993-1995). From 1995 to 1996, he was Head of the Military Cabinet in the Office of the President of the Republic of Croatia, and afterwards Deputy Commander of the Osijek Area Command (1997-1998). From 1997 to 1998, he was member of the State Committee for Regulation of Borders with Serbia and Military Envoy of the President for the Peaceful Integration of Eastern Slavonia. From 1999 to 2001 he was Deputy Commandant of the “Ban Josip Jelačić” War College, and from 2001 to 2003 Commander of the Osijek Area Command. He was Deputy Chief of General Staff of the CAF from 2003 to 2012. Since 2012 Lieutenant General Barić is Commandant of the Croatian Defense Academy “Dr. Franjo Tuđman”.
