Kopřiva Roman
Roman Kopřiva (Col. Ret.), born in 1964. He graduated from the Military College School in Vyškov and the NATO Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force (CJSOTF) Course. He was a member of the Czech Armed Forces reconnaissance units, including acting as a chief of Special Forces Staff. He also worked at SHAPE, in Mons, Belgium. Later, he held the post of director of the Special Forces Directorate and commander contingent in Afghanistan. He ended his military career in 2014 as the Military Attaché in Slovakia. It focuses mainly on the issues of the alliance strategy, the battle against terrorism, and anti-insurgency operations.
