Pavel Fousek, PhD, born  1963. In 2000, he graduates from Military University of Ground Forces in Control theory and combat use of the ground forces. Between 1989 to 2004 he held various staff and command positions in the Czech Armed Forces. He currently works at the Centre for Security and Military Strategic Studies of the University of Defence Brno. The main areas of research interest are combat readiness and mobilization.
