Ing. Ladislav Koláček, Lt.Col. (Ret.), born in 1958, Military Academy Brno 1978-1983, from 1983 till 2004 he served in basic commanding positions at ground forces, 2004-2007 senior lecturer at the Institute of Operational and Tactical Studies (ÚOTS) Brno, from 2008 till 2009 at the Institute of Strategical and Defence Studies (ÚSOS), University of Defence Brno. Since January 1, 2010, he has been working as a research fellow worker at the Department of Lifelong Learning, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), University of Defence Brno. In his scientific and pedagogical activities he is involved in operational deployment of units, general tactics, command and control.
