Capt. Ing. Michal Sobarňa, Ph.D., born in 1978, Military College of the Ground Forces (VVŠ PV) at Vyškov, Faculty of Military Systems Management, BSc. and MSc. studies, he graduated as commander-manager of artillery troops (2002). In the year 2005 he successfully defended his dissertation thesis at the Department of Fire Support Control, University of Defence Brno. From 2005-2007 he was a senior officer, fire support group, staff of the 132nd Joined Artillery Battalion at Jince. Since the year 2007 he has been working as a senior lecturer at the University of Defence Brno, where he pays attention namely to problems of firing and fire control of land-based artillery, automated systems of artillery fire control.
