Skála Milan
Ing. Milan Skála, Col. (Ret.), born in 1953, after graduating from the Military Academy Brno in 1979, line of study: military meteorological service; from 1979 till 1980 he served in the position of meteorologist-synoptist with the 4th Air Fighter Regiment Pardubice; 1980-1981 meteorologist-synoptist at Command Post of 1st Fighter Air Division Bechyně. From 1981 till 1991 chief of meteorological service of the 34th Fighter Bomber Air Division Čáslav. In the year 1991 he was at his own request moved to the Main Weather Centre Prague, where he till the year 2003 worked as a synoptist, chief of a shift, and chief of a division. After leaving the armed forces in 2004, he worked as an analyst and meteorologist. At present, he works at the Military Geographic and Hydrometeorologic Office (VGHMÚř) at Dobruška, section of hydrometeorological information.
