Ing. Jan Kyselák, Ph.D., born in 1962. He graduated in 1987 from Military Academy Brno, Faculty of Services and Support, his major was building constructions. In 2009 he obtained a Ph.D. degree in population protection. Now a senior lecturer, Department of Population Protection, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) in Brno. He is occupied with population protection problems, namely in the field of collective population protection, humanitarian assistance, preparations and training. As an author or co-author he published numbers of specialized articles both at home and abroad, dozens of textbooks and teaching aids. He still participates in solving problems in the field of population protection and crisis management.
