Ltc. PhDr. Ing. Jiří Pavlát, born in 1960. He graduated from the Military Academy in Brno and from the Palacky University in Olomouc (psychology). He served in command and technical positions in the Armed Forces and later he worked as a psychologist and internal auditor of human resources in civil company, as well as a clinical psychologist. From 2002 he worked in the Expert Centre of Military Psychology in Prague and since 2003 as a head of the Directorate of Personnel Support. He is studying doctoral degree in psychology at the Palacky University in Olomouc. Currently he is engaged in research activities in the field of mental stress of soldiers, psychological counselling and diagnostics.
