Colonel Dr. Ivan Němec, born in 1953. After graduating from the Military College of the Land Forces in Vyškov, in 1977, he passed the basic commanding posts within mechanized units. From 1981 to 1993, he held the staff position on the battalion and division levels. Since 1993 he worked as a teacher at the Military Academy in Brno, currently in the National Defence Management Department of the Operational and Tactical Studies Institute of the University of Defence. In 2004 he graduated from the doctoral study in Military Academy in Brno. He deals with the mobilization support of the Armed Forces issues.
