Ret. Lt. Col., Ing. Jan Dúbravčík, born in 1955. Graduated VVLŠ Košice (1979), Military Academy of Brno (1987), and finished course of Scheduling Close Air Support, in the US (1998), he also past out the Course of Planning Air Operations, in France (2000). He worked on command and expert positions on stage squadron Aviation Regiment, Air Force Base and the Air Force Command. He also worked at Headquarters for Training and Doctrine (2003-2011). He flown 1,500 flight hours, including 1,000 hours on the fighters. He has authored or co-authored several doctrinal publications on the use of air forces. Currently, he is retired.
