Plachý Jiří
PhDr. Jiří Plachý, born in 1975, he studied history, with the focus on the history of Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and further public administration at the Faculty of Law, University of West Bohemia, Plzeň. He worked as a historian at the Office for the Documentation and the Investigation of the Crimes of Communism and as an expert with the Military History Institute in Prague. At present he works even in the Faculty of Arts, Charles University (FF UK). His research work is concentrated above all on problems of the second foreign resistance and the questions of the third resistance. Author and co-author of three monographs and more than seventy of professional and popularizing articles and studies, published both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
