Žižka Miroslav
Major General Ing. Miroslav Žižka, MSc., born in 1964, the Military College of the Ground Forces at Vyškov. He completed dozens of courses, among others: General Staff Course Brno; English Language Course at Beaconsfield, Great Britain; Negotiating and Mediation Course at Cornwallis, Canada; Senior Officers Military Policy Course Oberammergau, Germany. He served at the basic and highest command positions: Commander of a Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Brigade, Commander of a Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Training Base; Chief of Staff of the 6th Mechanised Battalion in SFOR Operation, Bosnia and Herzegovina; Senior Liaison Officer of SFOR Commander in Zagreb, Croatia; Military Assistant to Director of Operations at the Joint Headquarters in Brunssum, the Netherlands; Director of Frequency Measurement Institute; Director of the Reconnaissance and Electronic Warfare Department of the Ministry of Defence--Commander of Land Forces. Since January 1, 2010, First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Army of the Czech Republic.
