Doc. Ing. Roman Horak, CSc., LTC. (Ret.), born in 1957. He is a graduate from the Military Logistics College in Žilina, majoring in military financing, and post-graduate studies and doctoral studies at the Military Academy in Brno. She performed positions in financial service on the regiment and brigade levels of the Armed Forces. Since 1993 he has worked as a university lecturer. He is currently working at the Department of Economics, University of Defence in Brno. Besides teaching in an accredited education she taught in career and vocational courses in defence sector and civil sectors. He is a member of the working committee for financial standardization within NATO (MC JSB FWG). He deal with financial management in the public defence sectors. He publishes in journals, at conferences, he is an author or co-author numerous scientific publications.
