Maj. Mgr. Marek Nový, born in 1969, Faculty of Arts, Charles University (FF UK) Prague, graduate of Security Studies, Marshall Centre, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Within the frame of Clinic of Psychiatry, General University Hospital Prague, he devoted himself to crisis intervention, lately, as a scholarly worker of Stress Centre, Military University of the Ground Forces (VVŠ PV) at Vyškov, he paid attention to stress research. Later on, as a police officer of the Criminal Police, he took part in solving violent criminal deeds. Since 2003 he has been a psychologist for the Military Police. Participant of missions abroad, Czech representative in NATO Science and Technology Organization, member of the Czech-Moravian Psychological Society and the Association of Forensic Psychologists. He puts finishing touches to his postgradual studies of psychology at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University Prague.
