PhDr. Marie Jandová, CSc., born in 1930. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno, in the field of English language, Spanish language, French language and pedagogy. The title PhDr. (MSc.) won in the field of the methodology of the English language and the title of the CSc. (Ph.D.) in the pedagogy of adults area. Since 1959 she has worked for the Czech (Czechoslovak) Armed Forces in the area of language training; currently at the Language Training Institute in Brno. She is the author and co-author of language textbooks and dictionaries.
