Col. assoc. prof. Lubomír Přívětivý, Ph.D., born 1960. In 1984 graduated from Jan Evangelista Purkyne University in Brno, Faculty of Education. In 2014 he was pronounced a docent (Associate Professor) and in 2016 became a Colonel of General Headquarters. After he experienced teaching as a high school teacher, he started working as an assistant professor and a chief of the Department of Physical Education and Sport at University of Army Ground Forces. Since 1996 he has been a chief of the Military Department at Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. He deals with the physical fitness issues and physical activities of professional soldiers, as well as, the physical fitness oriented on health promotion. He contributed to involving a special physical training into schooling. He has been a contributing to military defense research projects. He has also published in peer reviewed military, as well as, civil scientific journals and conference proceedings. Since 2009 he has been a member of the sports committee CISM for the military pentathlon and since 2015 he has been a leader of the Czech delegation in the International Military Sports Council (CISM).
