Mgr. Miroslav Kalous, born in 1984, graduated in politics and international relations at the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk, University (bachelor level). In the academic year 2009/2010 he was a senior student of the subsequent master studies of international relations at the same faculty. He specializes in social and political processes in the area of Greater Near East, with a higher stress on overall problems of Islamism, not only its violent manifestations. In addition to it, he is interested in theories of international relations, strategy studies and activities of intelligence services. He is a member of Student Section of International Institute of Political Science of Masaryk University.
