Jiří Černy, PhD, born 1958. He graduated from the Military College of the Ground Forces in Vyškov. He served in command and staff positions in combat units, units and brigades. He participated in the international SFOR mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, worked as Chief of Staff in the multinational brigade in Slovakia and worked at the Operational-Strategic Headquarters of the European Union. In 2006, he has joined the University of Defence as an academic worker at the Department of Tactics, where he has been working to this day. He deals with the issue of command and control.
