Ltc. Milan Kalina, born in 1969. In he graduated from the Military Colege of the Land Forces in Vyškov and in 2002 the Senior Staff Course at the Baltic Defence College in Tartu, Estonia. He performed basic and middle command positions within artillery units, battalions and brigades and staff positions at the Czech Armed Forces Joint Forces Command and NATO JFC HQ Brunssum, Netherlands. He currently works at the University of Defence in Brno, in position the deputy head of the Department of Fire Support. It focuses on the issues of combat use of artillery and fire support organization.
