Prof. Ignác Hoza, Ph.D., Dr. h.c. (Col. ret), born in 1941. He graduated from the College of Chemical Technology in Prague, Faculty of Food and Biochemical Technology. Since 1968 he acted as a lecturer at the Military Academy in Brno and Military Colleges in Žilina and Vyškov. During the years 1992-1995 he was a Director of the Department of Military Schools and Science of MoD in Prague. Later he was appointed Professor and rector of the Military College of the Land Forces in Vyškov (2003-2011), director of the Institute, faculty dean and the Rector of the Tomáš Baťa university in Zlín. Currently he is the Rector of the the College of Business and Hotel Management. He publishes in the security policy area.
