Miroslav Beneš (LTC, ret.), born in 1964. After graduating from the Military Faculty at the of Transport and Communications College in Žilina, he acted in in the area of military rail and bridge construction. After the abolition of the railway troops, he served in the staff posts in the 4th Rapid Reaction Brigade. In 2013 he completed his military career in the General Staff, where he participated in the planning of the force development area. He currently works at the directorate of the building and restoration of railways company where he is involved in the of training of the crisis managers for the construction of provisional railway bridges.
