Erik PAJTINKA, Ph.D., born in 1981. He is a graduate of a master's degree in international relations and diplomacy and has a doctorate in international relations. Currently, he works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations of Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and lectures as an external teacher at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University in Prague. In the past, he worked as a visiting scientist at the Dutch Institute of International Relations Clingendael in The Hague (Netherlands) and as an assistant professor at the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics in Bratislava. He specializes in the issues of contemporary theory and practice of diplomacy, in particular the issues of bilateral diplomacy and diplomacy of the European Union.
