Josef Múčka, born in 1970. He is graduate from the Military College in Vyškov (1993), in area of military economics - finance. Since 1993 he has been working in the Ministry of Defence (MoD). In 2006-2009, he was a defense advisor to the Permanent Delegation of the Czech Republic to NATO, and since 2007 he has worked at the NATO Resource Office (Resource Planning and Policy Department). In 2009-2014, he was Director of the Strategic Development Department in MoD. From August 2014 until the end of July 2017, he was again a defense adviser to the Permanent Delegation of the Czech Republic at NATO and a representative of the Czech Republic in the NATO Policy and Planning Resources Committee. From 1 August 2017, he joined the Strategic Development Department of MoD. In 1996, 1997 and 1998, he studied in USA, Sweden and Germany, in the areas of resource management and defense planning.
