Ing. Petr Veselík, Ph.D., was born in 1988. He earned his master’s degree in Economics and Management – National Defence Economics at the University of Defence where in 2017 he received a Ph.D. in Modelling and Simulation of Processes in the Troops and Population Protection. His research relates to employment of statistical methods in various areas such as environmental safety, logistics and risk management. Since 2016 he has been an academic worker of the Department of Quantitative Methods of the Faculty of Military Leadership of the University of Defence. He participates in research projects and publishes both in Czech and international journals.
