Daniel Sas, PhD, born 1972. He graduated from the Military Academy of the Ground Forces in Vyškov (1994), where he also received his PhD (2001) in the field of weapons of mass destruction and protection against them. He currently works as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical and Radiation Protection at the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Institute of the University of Defence. His research and teaching is focused on nuclear weapons, dosimetry, radiation protection and the detection and analysis of radioactive agents.
