Assoc. Prof. Jaroslav Varecha, PhD, born in 1963. He graduated from the Military College of Ground Forces in Vyškov (1986) and completed postgraduate studies at the Military Academy in Brno (1993). His expertise includes artillery employment, fire coordination, and command and control of armed forces. He has held senior academic and leadership roles in the field of artillery tactics and operational deployment. He currently serves as a professor at the Armed Forces Academy of General M. R. Štefánik, where he focuses on teaching and research in fire effectiveness and the tactical employment of artillery units in modern military operations.
