Leopold Skoruša, PhD (COL ret.). Born in 1959. Member of the academic staff at the University of Defence, Faculty of Military Leadership. Graduate of the Military University of the Ground Forces (1982) and the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno (Law and Legal Science; 2009). In 2012, he successfully completed doctoral studies at the University of Defence in the field of Protection of population. He is specialized on application of international, EU and European law in the field of security and defence.
